Material information
The Kuon furniture in the colour Desert is made of sustainable textile, named by Blomus after Socia. This multicoloured bouclé furniture fabric is voluminous (588 gr/m2) and soft with a rough and modern look. It is made of 100% recycled polypropylene and Oekotex-Standard 100 certified.
The legs of the stool are made of untreated oak and have silicone protective caps on the underside.
Cleaning and maintenance
Vacuum the textile regularly with a suitable nozzle, preferably at half suction power. For removing stains, we recommend that you act as soon as possible after spilling liquids. First allow any liquid residue to soak into a dry cotton cloth (do not rub). Carefully remove dried-on residue with a spoon and vacuum up loose particles before continuing. Non-greasy stains can be removed by dabbing gently with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung out in clean, warm water. Avoid edges by dabbing the stain gently in a circular motion, working from the outside in. Remove grease stains with suitable cleaning agents or solvents. In all cases, we recommend that you first test the stain remover on an inconspicuous area to see if it affects the cover. Allow the fabric to dry completely before using the article again.
Is there a stitch or loose thread in the fabric? You can then put it back with a blunt object. Please do not pull or cut, this can worsen the damage.
